Webinar: What is ECHO OEM?

February 28, 2024 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EST)

Description

“ECHO” (Extension for Community Health-care Outcomes) was first conceived in 2003 as a way to reach remote, under-served communities.  In 2014, IWH Scientist Dr. Andrea Furlan  implemented the first Project ECHO in Canada then in 2021 Dr. Furlan lead a research team based at  the Institute for Work & Health (IWH) to implement a “Project ECHO” -- a pilot to develop, implement, and evaluate the first ECHO in occupational and environmental medicine (OEM) in the world.

ECHO OEM is for Ontario health-care providers who want to learn about best practices in occupational and environmental medicine to better support their patients in recovery and return to work or stay at work.

Join Dr. Andrea Furlan to learn more about this valuable program designed to help you build better OHS programs and expand your OHS knowledge.
